Black Students Talk Tech

Black Students Talk Tech is an immersive experience (led and taught by Black tech leaders) for HBCU students to develop tangible skills to launch their technology career or business. Students will participate in multidisciplinary workshops, mentor sessions, and panel discussions that will create a more diverse tech ecosystem.

Job Board

Diversity matters and the time is now. Less than 3% of employees at the top 75 companies in Silicon Valley are Black, and women are an even more distinct minority. Now, with the U.S. amidst a fundamental reorientation of attitudes about race and inclusion, Black Women Talk Tech is stepping up to help increase access for Black and Brown professionals in tech. The BWTT Job Board, our partner-exclusive job link, will help bridge the gap for our community and for our partners.

Investor Matchmaking

Black Women & Men Talk Tech has developed a solution to help bridge this gap between entrepreneurs and investors. We work with investors to deeply understand their investment thesis and then source qualified and vetted entrepreneurs running startups that meet the specific investment criteria such as industry, stage, ARR, customer base, etc. By curating these introductions for VCs we can increase funding for our community while helping to diversify the portfolios of our partners.

Talk Tech Association

Black women tech founders are worth the investment, and Talk Tech Association develops the data and insights to back that up. By better understanding Black women founders, our experiences, and the current economic landscape we promote advancement that will help more Black women reach their business goals, and ultimately become independently wealthy.

We are creating the first media company focused on global entrepreneurs – over 580 million of them worldwide. Our creative studio produces content for television, film and documentaries for distribution on television networks and streaming platforms, along with our own digital platform.
